Hi all,
We have some spooky and exciting events we are planning for Halloween, on Saturday October 31st. There will be two sets of events available for people to attend, and the events will be fairly different from one another. This thread will outline the differences for those interested in attending.
For the first, and less spooky event, the Harvest Ball, Governor @Addison Flanagan will be hosting citizens of New Alexandria at her mansion in Saint Denis for a fun and enjoyable Ball. The Harvest Ball will take place at 1pm and 9pm Eastern Time, and will last roughly 1.5 hours.
The second, spookier event, the Tour of the Damned will take place separately from the Harvest Ball, and comes with a set of rules that will allow this event to happen. We've put a lot of thought and planning into hosting a unique and enjoyable event without ruining the canon of Wild West RP, so these rules will ensure that is possible. This event WILL REQUIRE PRE-REGISTRATION; FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
Rules for the Tour of the Damned event:
- While this roleplay takes place within the world of Wild West RP, it will be a hallucination that you will not remember. You will remember the events leading up to your hallucination, and you'll remember waking up with a wicked headache, but that's it. This will allow us to do what we want to do without introducing certain things into roleplay that we don't wish to introduce.
- No player vs player crime will be allowed during this event. While people should always follow how the roleplay goes, intentionally shit-disturbing the event will have you promptly removed from it.
- You may only attend one of the two event sessions.
This event will be hosted at 3pm and 11pm Eastern Time, which gives people the opportunity to attend the Harvest Ball and then take part in the event.
This second event will require registration and will require you to agree to the rules of this specific event. Breaking the rules of this event leading to stories of what happened during the event leaking onto the server will carry severe punishment. The first 25 people to post will be guaranteed a slot on the server, and an "waitlist" of 5 people will be allowed in the event of no-shows among the 25 that sign up.
Registration for the 3pm Eastern Time event will open on Friday, October 23rd at 3pm Eastern Time, and registration for the 11pm Eastern Time event will open at 11pm on the same night. You may not sign up for more than one event (including those on the waitlist).
