Description 

Early Life 

Saffron was born in Glasgow to her parents, Brand and Joanna Mitchell. The young couple sent her to live with her grandparents near Inverness not long after, and the girl grew up in the highlands tending to their cows and horses. Though they frequently visited, they primarily stayed in the city to work, and when she was about fourteen, she joined them.
