History
Station opening, 1904
The idea of starting Bluebird Station came to Himmel Liljedahl right as 1904 began, she sent in the business application January 2nd, 1904. Bluebird became an official business January 7th, 1904. Himmel's friend Hilda Krohn helped start the business.
Bluebird Station, the name of the business, was inspired by Himmel's love for trains and her being nicknamed Bluebird. Her love for blue got incorporated into her business.
Himmel signed the first business contract for Bluebird Station January 10th with Crimson Distillery, Elizabeth Bowers. And a second contract with Dark Horse Distillery the day afterwards.
Bluebird Station had it's first opening January 13th. A very quiet day.
