Description 

Early Life 

Conrad was born in Stockholm, Sweden to a Scottish dockworker and a Swedish waitress. He lived in Stockholm for a few years until moving up to Jokkmokk in northern Sweden where he lived until he was around 10 years old.
At the age of ten, he moved to his fathers hometown of Aberdeen in Scotland together with both of his parents. Alas, Conrads father would shortly afterwards abandon his wife and son and disappear for the next five years. As a result of this, Conrad had to take the role of the man of the house and started to do crime together with his new best friend Kragen Murdoch, and another man by the name of Karl Dunham. The three did alot of crime together, particularly fistfights, pickpocketing and just causing chaos on the streets in general.
After a few years in Scotland, Conrad was introduced to Kragens cousin, Robert Murdoch, who would join Conrad and Kragen in doing petty crime from time to time.

Conrad worked from 1895 to 1901 at the Mugiemoss Paper Works. This work was gruelling hard factory labour, and in February of 1901, just before his travels to New Alexandria, Conrad partook in the strikes as an effort to try and get more pay. The strikes led to much of the workforce, including Conrad, being laid off. This combined with the fact that Conrads mother passed, Conrad decided to leave Scotland for America together with his best friend in search of the American dream. A few months later, the two arrived in New Alexandria.
