Description 

Declan appears to be in his late 20's to early 30's. While his skin is fair, it has been weathered and lightly tanned from his hard lifestyle and time spent outside. His hair is a deep shade of brown, worn with the top slicked back and sides shaven. His eyes a stormy blue set on either side of a strong nose, which looks as if it may have been broken in the past.

Tall, broad and powerfully built, Declan is a product of a harsh working-class upbringing. His mannerisms are crude and quite often vulgar, but delivered with a mask of humour and charismatic charm. He can be seen dressed in functional but comfortable clothing, oftentimes in colours like green, blue, brown and black.

Best known for his wit, charm, kindness, and passion, Declan is quick with a smile, and a friend and source of laughter to the people around him. He will do whatever it takes to protect those he cares about and is often the first to throw himself in the line of fire, forever fighting for what he believes is right and defending those in need; however, he rarely allows people to get too close, afraid he will inevitably frighten them with his highly emotional and sometimes volatile nature. Because of this, Declan exposes his true self to only his most trusted of friends...but his heart runs deep, and is full of love to give to those who prove themselves worthy of it.

Early Life 

Born to two young lovers in the tenement housing of Montgomery St. in Dublin, Declan grew up in poverty surrounded by the biggest red light district in Europe. Although a butcher by trade, his father was a patriotic dreamer, always saying that one day their country would be free of British rule.
