Description 

Early Life 

John Mitchell was born on the 10th October 1872 in the large industrial town of Gothenburg, Sweden. His father, Edward Mitchell, was a sailor that worked with exporting resources to Great Britain, mainly wood.
On Edwards many trips to the Isles, he would meet and couple with a young waitress by the name of Alys working at one of the sailors favorite pubs.

Johns childhood in Sweden was tough and full of setbacks. At the time, Sweden was very poor and his parents worked very hard in order to make sure that their little boy had clothes and food on the table. Things would get worse for John however, as the parents eventually divorced and split up, causing Alys to take John with her to her hometown of Cardiff, Wales. Edward however, stayed in Sweden and never saw John again.

Life in this new and foreign country quickly turned into a nightmare for little John who was now 10 years old. Due to his heavy accent and introverted personality, he became a primary target for bullies and other children to pick on him. In these dark times, John got into fights daily and felt like he was alone against the entire world, with nobody apart from his hard working mother on his side. Lucky for John, he would soon realize that he was wrong.

One year after moving to Cardiff, now 11 years old, John met with Arthur, Frederick and Richard Fowler, three brothers living in Cardiff with their own mother. The brothers and John quickly became friends and John had finally met people that treated him with respect and grew to care for him. The brothers had his back whenever John needed it and in return for this, they received a man that would do the same for them, but also had an immense sense of loyalty to the brothers.

After knowing the Fowler brothers for a few years and growing older, John joined the Fowler brothers when they formed their gang “The Broke Knuckle Boys”. Due to Johns violent nature, loyalty and bond to the brothers, he became their main enforcer. John never disobeyed orders and would always do what needed to be done. Thanks to his traumatic past and damaged mind, John would be the one to perform even the most reprehensible acts for the good of the gang.
