    Description

    🍀Irish Gal
Niamh O’Reilly was born on June 27, 1874, in Cork, Ireland, to Seamus and Róisín O’Reilly, a wealthy and well-regarded couple known not only for their influence in the community but for the quiet power they held behind closed doors. Though their fortune came from both legitimate business and subtle criminal dealings, they raised their children in luxury, fine clothes, private tutors, and a grand home that looked out over the sea. But everything changed when Niamh was just twelve years old.

One night, during a botched robbery at their estate, Seamus and Róisín were killed, leaving Niamh and her twin sister Aoibheann to fend for themselves. The family fortune vanished almost overnight, stolen, squandered, or seized by opportunists. With only scraps of what remained and their younger brother Cillian, the twins were forced to grow up fast and hard. Survival bred ruthlessness. Niamh, the more calculating of the two sisters, learned how to watch, how to wait, and how to strike only when necessary. By her late teens, Niamh had carved herself a place in Cork’s criminal underworld, helping to revive the O’Reilly name, not as a noble family, but as a feared and respected faction.

Now Niamh is as composed as she is lethal. Her auburn hair, typically tied back or tucked under a hat, frames a face made unreadable by years of practice. Her brown eyes, often narrowed in quiet study, miss nothing. A faint dusting of freckles over her fair skin serves as the only remaining hint of the girl she once was. Despite her hardened exterior, Naimh is bound fiercely to her siblings. With Aoibheann, she shares a near-telepathic connection, a twin bond forged through shared trauma and mutual protection. With Cillian, she’s quietly maternal, even if she pretends not to be. She doesn’t speak of love or softness, but expresses it in the only ways she knows: loyalty, watchfulness, and ruthless defense of her own.

Niamh O’Reilly is more than just a survivor, she is the memory of her parents legacy and the architect of the O’Reilly future. And anyone who threatens her family doesn’t live long enough to forget it.

    Early Life

    🍀Growing up
Niamh O’Reilly was born in the lively city of Cork, Ireland, at her family’s impressive estate by the sea. She grew up alongside her twin sister Aoibheann and their younger brother Cillian, surrounded by the comforts that came with their family’s wealth and standing. Her parents, Seamus and Róisín O’Reilly, were prominent figures in their community, respected for their business successes but also quietly involved in less lawful activities. Although the family enjoyed luxury with private tutors and fine clothes, there was always a subtle tension beneath the surface that shaped their lives.

From early on, Niamh showed herself to be the more serious and watchful twin. Where Aoibheann was outgoing and lively, Niamh preferred to stay in the background, observing and learning. Their bond was strong, but Niamh’s nature was more calculating, always careful to understand the dynamics around her. While her childhood was comfortable, it was also fragile and full of unspoken dangers.

That fragile world came crashing down when Niamh was only twelve years old. During a robbery gone wrong at their home, both her parents were killed. Almost immediately, the family fortune vanished—taken, lost, or seized by those eager to exploit the chaos. With only a small portion of their former wealth remaining, Niamh, Aoibheann, and Cillian were left to survive on their own. This loss marked a turning point for Niamh. She quickly realized that survival demanded cold calculation and toughness, and that showing kindness could leave her vulnerable.

As she moved through her teenage years, Niamh’s quiet demeanor hardened. While Aoibheann became more bold and passionate, Niamh focused on strategy, growing into a cold and careful leader alongside Aoibheann, together they would protect what little was left of their family. She worked to rebuild the O’Reilly name in Cork’s criminal underworld, not as wealthy aristocrats but as a force to be reckoned with.

Despite everything, Niamh’s loyalty to her siblings remains unshaken. Her connection to Aoibheann is nearly unbreakable, formed through shared hardship and a fierce will to protect one another. With Cillian, she reveals a gentler side, quietly looking out for him though she rarely shows it. She does not speak of love, but she expresses it through unwavering loyalty and fierce protection.
Niamh carries the memory of her parents with her and shapes the future of the O’Reilly family. She is calm, dangerous, and relentless. Anyone who threatens her family learns quickly that the O’Reilly twins do not forgive easily.

In time, rumors began to reach Cork about a new land of opportunity far across the ocean, New Alexandria, a bustling American city known for its promise of wealth and fresh starts. The stories of riches and power sparked a fire in the twins. They knew their time in Ireland was growing dangerous, as local powers grew uneasy with their rise. Determined to grow their influence and secure their family’s future, Niamh and Aoibheann gathered their most loyal followers, those who had remained by their side through thick and thin. They took what they could from their dwindling resources, boarded a ship, and set sail for New Alexandria.

The voyage was risky and difficult, but the chance to claim new treasures and power made every danger worthwhile. And the gang eventually made it to New Alexadnria, the boat leaving them in Saint Denis.

    Present Life

    🍀New beginnings, 1904
Arriving in New Alexandria in May, Niamh and her gang started making a name for themselves instantly. Robbing people, stores and making connections with other gangs like the Barnett's. Even starting their own business, Doyle's Tavern. Running their own Irish pub as a bit of a cover for their criminal activity.

Even though the O'Reilly's claim Saint Denis as their territory, Niamh herself tends to stay around Rhodes and keeps her personal things in her apartment there. Not wanting to risk her personal belongings being taken by white hats or other assholes that know the O'Reilly's claim Saint Denis. So Niamh is often roaming around Rhodes, close enough to her gangs territory.
