A rather large, intimidating fellow with long, brown, unkempt hair and brown eyes. Is rarely seen but is mostly spotted in his immense amount of furs. Very dirty and smells, Bushman has very little social skills and is quite shy of other folks.

Early Life

1860s - 1890s​

Born right before the Civil War, Sam Bushell was caught in the middle of a bloodbath in his hometown of Beaver, West Virginia growing up. His parents had died in the crossfire between union and confederate soldiers, where the 5 year-old ran off into the woods. It wasn't until years later where he resurfaced amongst groups of other Wild men in the woods, raised on a culture of meat and pelt trading.

March 1901​

Bushman has been known to watch the people of Valentine through old binoculars, preferring to hide in the bushes. Although very shy, Bushman will talk with folks who don't frighten or spook him with firearms. Being first found by Butcher Creek, Bushman assisted Bert Miggleton in helping rescue his cousin, Clyde Porker, but followed up by purposely having Gin Sonny arrested so he could take other folks hostage for his meat fascination.

April 1901​

Believing him to be a Sasquatch, folks such as Dewey Mercer and Kragen Murdoch both conducted their own searches for him, whether for profit or for fame.
Bushman, Treeman and Rockman kidnapped a fellow down by Butcher Creek and, taking him into the cave at Elysian Pool, they robbed him of his meats and left him in the darkness of the cave. With the chaos that ensued in the cave, Rockman was killed by the members of the Naturemen and eaten, with his bones tossed into the pit. Since this incident, Bushman and the Naturemen have been rarely seen since.

May 1901​

It is believed that Bushman made his way up to Colter, and the remaining Naturemen dispersed across the state, preying occasionally on the populace for their meats.
