Summary
The information here is compiled by various local newspapers, as well as written down in various histories in the libraries of New Alexandria. These documents dictate the events that occurred on December 21st, 1899 when Soleil Delgato was tried by the State of New Alexandria in a bench trial in an attempt to make the leader of The Faceless answer for their crime spree across all of New Alexandria.
History
The Faceless had been on an incredible crime spree, robbing several banks, stores, and building quite the reputation for being hard to apprehend by law enforcement. The Deputies of New Alexandria were always seemingly a step behind The Faceless. Eventually, a bench warrant was drafted for Soleil Delgato to answer for his crimes. To many's surprise, Soleil showed up to the bench trial to face his charges. The proceedings were going well, and everything was maintained as civil, but eventually chaos rained out as the faceless took control of the court room. Soleil sent a clear message to all of New Alexandria, The Faceless would not be captured, nor defeated so easily. A lot of doubt came about the Sheriffs Department, in addition to the courts on that day, a doubt that has persisted somewhat through time, it would go to set a dangerous precedent, that having Soleil Delgato in a courtroom was always going to involve chaos.
Long Term Effect(s)
The long term effects of the trial drew out a new degree of fear from the citizens of new alexandria to the faceless. Many had wronged them up to this point, and they were difficult to capture and charge. The trial showed they would stop at nothing to see their rampage and wrath across New Alexandria continue, no matter the cost.
