History
Sugar, love and everything sweet, 1904
Sweetheart's Pastries became an official business on March 30th after the owner's business license interview was approved. Beatrice Fairchild had sent in the business license application on March 27th. The first sale for the business actually happened before it was an official business, Beatrice had sold a few lemon cakes just some days before the application was sent in. It was making those lemon cakes and seeing the smile on the customer that made Beatrice want to open her own bakery and therefor starting Sweetheart's Pastries.
In April the business starting receiving multiple orders from all kinds of people for all kinds of event, this brought in a big profit for the business and the owner. With all the newfound money the owner, Beatrice Fairchild, was able to start planning to expand the business and even start hosting her own events through the business.
Beatrice published her own recipe book called "Sweetheart's Recipes" April 12th for anybody who wants to learn how the business makes all it's pastries. She went across the state delivering copies of the book to all the telegram offices so anybody could grab a copy for free. Beatrice also sent copies of the book to the New Alexandria Libraries.
At the end of April the owner moved to Blackwater, so she brought her business with her there. The bakery is going splendid and has made at least $1000 in profits already from the day it opened. Getting new orders almost every week. The business mainly operates out of Blackwater but a lot of the baking and making of all the pastries actually happen out of a bakery in Armadillo after Beatrice was shown the location of it by Valarie Braken.
Beatrice made a book containing outfits inspired by different pastries and other sweet things and published the book that's called "Sugar Stitched" at the beginning of May so everyone could get a copy and see all the outfits, perhaps even try them on. She got help from friends that modeled the outfits for her. The book itself took about a month to put together and finish. Beatrice also sent copies of the book to the New Alexandria Libraries.
Sweetheart's Pastries hosted it's first event on May 10th in Blackwater. The event was called "Sweet Tooth Smackdown" and was a fist fighting event with sweet prizes.
