Description 

Thistle "Marie" Hain is a 19 year old blond haired, green eyed woman who has a predilection for the illicit substances. She often comes off as quiet, and keeps her tone to a whisper though seems to be often lost in thought.

Early Life 

Thistle ‘’Marie’’ Hain was born to an aristocratic mother and nautical military father, whose status’ were only just recently secured in society within the bustling city of Nashville until, like all things shiny and new, they too faded away. The early onset death of Thistle’s father sent her mother spiraling into vices of any sort in order to keep her mind occupied from the grief she suffered. Unable to process the loss of her guiding light in life, the one failing that held her greatest favor was opium. Selling their belongings, and any sort of dignity her mother had resulted in Thistle, her older sister, and her brothers, slowly but surely finding themselves living in squalor in the slums of the city over a tedious period of time. Unable to make enough to claw their way out of their predicament and even if they did manage it, it was surely to be smoked away by their mother.

Thistle attempted to grow closer to her mother by asking for help with her many aliments to which her mother assisted her despite their rough relationship, helping the young girl grow a addiction to opium. This addiction led to Thistle meeting Everett whom was her dealer and the pair hit it off. It wasn't until the death of her mother that Thistle started a slow but very steady decent into delusion and drug addiction. Thistle started to believe that most if not all of her life was fantasy, and had never occurred. From the death of her younger brother, to the vanishing of her older sister and brothers, she believed none of it had ever occurred in reality. Choosing instead to believe that she had simply concocted her former life from the confines of her mind. As she got worse, Everett took notice and sought help outside of their friendship in order to aid the young and sick girl. The pair met Reese and Luther, who offered them the assistance they needed which helped to pull Thistle from her vice and thrusted her into a never ended loyalty to those who saved her life.
