A Changing of the Guard
It's hard to believe that it has been nearly 5 years since the idea of Wild West Roleplay was conceived. What was at the time an "wouldn't it be cool if..." idea quickly flourished into a more incredible community than I ever could have imagined. The community that exists today would not exist if it were not for the tireless work of hundreds of people over the past 5 years. For that, and for the community the roleplayers here have fostered, I am forever grateful. This has been an incredible experience for me, and this community remains very close to my heart.
With that being said, due to some changes in my life, I have realized that it is time for me to hand the reins to someone else to own. I cannot dedicate the time and energy investment that this community deserves. I intend to take a background role as a Founder. After careful consideration, I am pleased to announce that @Misha Hallock and @Elliot Lynderly will take co-ownership of Wild West RP as of September 1st 2024. Alongside this change, @Nathan Daniels will be taking over as Development Lead.
You may see some changes in the general team that manages and leads Wild West RP over the next few days and weeks. I am very hopeful for this new chapter of the community.
Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for making this community as great as it is.
