Hi all,

It's that time again, to talk about Red Dead Online Behavior. This conversation has come up in the past before and this sort of thing seems to come in waves, and given thing I've been told, we're in the midst of one now!

So, to start off with our stance on RDO behavior: If you want to play RDO; go play RDO. WWRP is not the place to be messing around and ruining others immersion.

What is RDO Behavior? Here are some examples:

  • Killing/purposefully aggro'ing locals.
  • Playing lasso games in the middle of taverns/middle of towns. It's important to remember that lassoing somebody was not a particularly easy thing to do - and typically not something people would do in the middle of bars/towns just to mess around. If you want to lasso or wrestle, go to one of the mud pens.
  • Needlessly jumping around rooftops.
  • Dueling for fun/without serious consequences.
  • Needlessly riding horses/carriages through towns at maximum speed.
While this list is not exclusive, it does include some of the things we've seen recently.

Wild West RP is a serious roleplay community, and I recommend that anyone who witnesses this type of behavior please report it! If you are unsure, you can always open a #support ticket with Staff to discuss. The only way we can combat this type of roleplay is the community policing itself.

For those who participate in this type of behavior, please keep in mind that Wild West RP is not the place to do it.

Thanks!
