Legacy of Craftsmanship
For over a year, Tipsy Clover Brewery has upheld the time-honored traditions of Irish brewing and distilling. With a commitment to quality and craftsmanship, each batch of whiskey and stout reflects the unwavering dedication to excellence.
History
The brewery's inception can be traced back to the early 1900s when Timothy, the proprietor of Little Timmy's Irish Pub in Rhodes, sought to expand his ventures. In collaboration with Johan Espeland, his apprentice brewer, the duo embarked on a journey to master the craft of brewing.
Their efforts culminated in the creation of the Tipsy Clover Irish Dry Stout, a distinctive brew that blended traditional Irish flavors with a touch of the New Alexandria spirit. The stout quickly gained popularity, becoming a signature offering at Little Timmy's and drawing patrons from far and wide.
Buoyed by the success of the stout, the duo saw an opportunity to broaden his horizons. The Tipsy Clover Brewery evolved from a pub's in-house creation to a standalone entity. This expansion allowed them to share their passion for finely crafted beer with a broader audience.
It was later, in March 1903 that the brewery started producing and distributing their single pot still Irish Whiskey.
