So we have been working for a bit on ways to make Sisika a bit less of an OOC punishment and a bit more of an IC RP opportunity, and as of today we are officially launching a permanent Sisika RP server! We are hoping that in creating a permanent server which is exclusively used for Sisika RP, that people serving extended sentences will come together and have a chance to roleplay in stripes together.
Now, you will not be forced to serve your time in Sisika on the dedicated Sisika server but it will be highly encouraged. If you're only serving a short sentence in peak time for example, we're not expecting you to give up your spot in the queue for the chance of a short interaction. However, we truly hope that people will utilize this server and turn their time behind bars into exciting roleplay and story opportunities. For example, once you have banked a bit of jailtime to serve you could delay serving that time until you see others online on the Sisika server. On top of the increased criminal interaction behind bars, this may also provide extra incentive for criminals to accept longer and more serious punishments knowing that there is still the chance for RP for those characters. As another example, it would also be a lot easier to organize an attempted jailbreak when you're walking around interacting with and talking to other criminals in a similar predicament.
It is important to note however that this server will be exclusively for Sisika RP. You will be automatically removed from the server if you are attempting to roleplay on it and your character is not located in Sisika. Please do not join the server if you are not logging on for the explicit purpose of RPing in Sisika.
That said, all of this will only work if people actually utilize the server. So please do! We will be monitoring its use moving forward, and hope to see you running around in your most likely unwashed prison jumpsuit very soon.
