Early Life

An Englishmen, who has came over to the states in order to provide for his family back at home. Living in poverty in the north east of England, where there was little oppurtunity to make a good living, it is impossible to provide for a wife and two children... He heard talk of the new land that is being settled here in the Americas, the idea of "Life, Liberty and the persuit of Happiness!", so he hitched a train to Liverpool in hopes of getting tickets for a steam boat to the Americas, then calling hoping to call for his family to join me. Once in Liverpool it was a struggle to find enough money to board a boat legally with all my family, but one night in the pub his fates had changed and he had won a single 3rd class ticket on the next steam boat to the states. He had little time to decide whether to sell the ticket and try get more money for a later boat or get on the boat he had right in front of him, with hopes of gaining enough money to send back to England to help reunite him with his loved ones! He chose the later.

After arriving in Saint Denis, the hustle and bustle of the city thrown him for six and he had no idea where to start, no where to live and no one to help support him. Black started to do deliveries for the mail service, but was barely earning enough in order to survive for himself, the goal on pursuing happiness had never seemed further away than they did right now. Black swore to his girl back home that he would not fall into the ways of an outlaw and that he would stay a law abiding citizen. Black felt that joining the Sheriffs Department will aid in doing this, as he is a man on his word, he taken the chance,

Present Life

Black is currently a Senior Deputy in the New Alexandria Sheriffs Department. He has worked his way up through the ranks of the department making many friends with his collegues along the way, as well as building a repore with the citizens around the state, including members of mount medical and his close friend Elinor Schmidt. Where will his story go next....
