Born Lana Krasna, she is a third-generation immigrant from Russia with her family being some of the original settlers from Russian on Kodiak Island, Alaska. She is also part Alutiiq, her grandmother being full-blooded.

Early Life 

---

The measure of a man could sometimes be determined by the weight of his name. Krasna had become as good as a curse in some circles and often used in the past tense when referring to something that had spoiled. The head of the household was a drunk who saw his family as tools to serve his addiction. When the laboring of his sons failed to keep up with his growing debts he found other things to barter. Lana was too young to go to work and a girl aside, her use to the family's well-being was limited and her father was not shy about his resentment. They relocated from one town to the next, traveling from Alaska further south to warmer temperatures, squatting in abandoned homes or camping deep in the woods.

Maybe it was a bad hand of poker, maybe her father stole from the wrong bandit, she had a wide array of stories that helped her explain how her father could have so callously sold her to slavers but deep down she always knew it was a conscious choice. Her life for a jug of moonshine, and just like that she was torn from her brothers and mother. Her childhood was replaced with the serving of one master or another, never knowing where she was by name, only by the landscape.

Her Russian accent made her exotic and her broken English had her slavers assuming she was ignorant. Despite her inability to read or write, she was observant and resilient. She bided her time and gritted her teeth through abuses at the hand of her masters until finally liberating herself. Unshackled meant very little beyond the confines of her owner's walls. Freedom was a word she would have to define herself along with her search for who she was without those bindings.

Present Life

Since arriving in New Alexandria, Lana has gone from a socially awkward liberated slave to redefining not only how others see her, but how she sees herself. She is the sole or part founder of all the Businesses and charitable foundations she currently assists in managing while also sitting as an active Associate Justice.

• Current and ongoing collaborative efforts with Lawerence Carnegie and Markus Underwood to help develop a Legal Education Program for aspiring lawyers or other interested parties

She has since removed herself from involvement with them following slander and libel campaigns. She has also stopped any production of trading cards or her involvement with events, finding the constant and active death threats combined with these campaigns a clear sign that her energy had thus far been misplaced.

Currently, she is only associated with the Judiciary and the Molotov family.
