History
The New Alexandria Legislature was set up shortly after the State’s creation. Quickly getting to work the body began to create Bills and Amendments that would be passed as laws. Modeled after the Federal Government in practice, there is a set system in which the governing body operates due to the New Alexandria Constitution. Each election has been roughly every 3 months, with terms lasting 4 months. A representative can only sit for three full terms, consecutive or not.
