Description
The Molotovs are made up of orphans in their own right, all people from various backgrounds who have found solace in the family they choose. Founded by Kojak Molotov and Lana Molotov, their numbers fluctuate based on the ever-shifting tied of loyalties. Even when a member is exiled, someone in the family will still try to reach out and make sure they're okay. Being a part of the Molotovs is heavily dependant on whether the patriarch or matriarch of the family feels you are loyal and respectful and deserving of their protection in whatever form it might be.
History
"I do" began the foundation for the Molotovs, not just through marriage but also through adoption. Three people came together from broken backgrounds and agreed to be each other's family out of love and the desire to take care of one another.
Molotov Ranch
Taking on a husband or a wife requires adjustment, but in the same day Kojak and Lana were wed, they took on Ellen as their daughter. Sleeping out of the Valentine Hotel wouldn't work, they needed a home. Lana wandered all over the state looking for a place to set up Fist to Face and found the spot for her first business as well as their first home. A little ranch in New Hanover, just outside of Emerald Ranch, was the first gift Lana and Kojak gave to Ellen, her home. They told her that it was her land to do with as she pleased and they just resided there as long as she wanted them to. That Ranch became the source of as many trying moments as happy and moving would prove difficult. The option presented itself twice, the first time being swiftly backed out of as not all members of the family were ready for that transition. The second time was met with a lot of conversation and an agreeance to go slower.

Once you're a Molotov, you're one for life, even if the standing changes they still look out for you in one way or another. The hierarchy begins with those who hold the last name, or the namesakes. Next is the Inner Circle, while all Inner Circle is seen as family, not all family is seen as Inner Circle. These are the people who know all aspects of the family, good and bad, no matter what. They are also the ones most trusted to keep family secrets. Adopted families are those the Namesakes keep close, cultivating and empowering them while observing how much they can trust them. Some will eventually make it into the Inner Circle while others may always be considered Adopted family only - especially if it means protecting both them as much as the Namesakes. They aren't treated any less, they just usually know a lot less than the Inner Circle. Extended family is where everyone else resides, close to the family enough to be invited to live with them in Molotov Hall or be informed of their movements on a day to day basis, but restricted person by person on how much they know.
